LOLA MAKE UP PRETTY PINK LOOK
It's been some time since I last did a beauty post. But here I am! I won't ramble too much because I am in no means a make up artist, nor am I that good. I enjoy make up and I can't go a day without it. But I thought I'd share this look that I teamed up with LOLA MAKEUP the proud sponsors of Britains Next Top Model! They challenged me to create a look from their new FLIRT COLLECTION! The whole collection is so pretty and stunning, all kinds of pretty in pink vibes!
For me I'm not a typical blush girl, I have to admit I'm more of a contour and highlight girl to complete my look, I don't go for the rosy or blushed look. So when I was sent a blush, I was a little concerned, like Oh my god how do I use this, I don't do blush. I was very scared. However I thought outside the box of course, and I managed to use the blush in a different way.
I decided to use the blush in shade 003 for my eyes, with the help of a nude brown I blended the two together to create a very gentle smokey eye. I never usually lean toward colour on my eyes as I feel I always look like I've got a black eye, it just never suits me! However I was clearly having a very good make up day and the look turned out better than I expected! Then to finish off the eyes I used the eye liner in shade Olive! I loved this because it had a hint of shimmer, along with a hint of green but not too over powering. Then it was a splash of mascara and my favourite lashes from Primark. I did my usual base of using my Estee Lauder Double which I love and you may of seen me compare in my previous post with the Primark dupe.
Once the base and eyes were done, it was time to complete my look with lipstick! A pink lip is something I always lean for in the spring, and for when I'm going on some of my recently free dates. which I've been finding from using free dating sites. I used shade 105 minx in the Matte Long lasting lipstick range, and it sure did last long. I loved the shade and pigmentation from the lipstick which really stood out and complimented the eyes and the over all look. Over all I love the look and think it would be a great look for drinks with the girls or even date night to really stand out to your date. The look is flirty for girly and looks amazing for everyday wear or for day to night looks.
